1569 meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

On September 15 and 16, 2026, in Strasbourg, Republic of France, was held 1569meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (hereinafter: the Committee of Ministers) which is dedicated to the supervision of the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.

Nand the agenda of the meeting wouldo is also an objectBut against Serbia which relationshipand onextradition of the applicant to the Kingdom of Bahrain despite his claims that there he will be exposed to the risk of torture, inhuman or degrading treatment and life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, as well as despite the temporary measure by which the European Court of Human Rights ordered the Republic of Serbia not to extradite the applicant, which casefindingand under increased supervision.

After considerationof the revised Action Plan submitted by the Republic of Serbia, and in which the individual and general measures taken to implement this case are presented, the Committee of Ministers adoptedthe decision and called on the state to no later than15. in June 2027, submit new information in accordance with the comments made.

Also, the Committee of Ministers passed2 finale resolutione which ended the supervision of the execution of the verdictMarko Tešić against Serbia and judgmentsAtanasije Ristic against Serbia.
