In the period from June 11 to 13, 2024, in Strasbourg, Republic of France, was held 1501st meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (hereinafter: the Committee of Ministers) which is dedicated to the supervision of the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.
Nand subjects from the group of subjects were also on the agenda of the meeting Stanimirović v. Serbia which are related toineffective investigation in relation to allegations of alleged ill-treatment by police officers (violation of the procedural aspect of Article 3 of the Convention) andabuse by police officers during interrogation (violation of the material aspect of Article 3 of the Convention), and which casesare under increased surveillance.
After considering the revised Action Plan submitted by the Republic of Serbia, in which individual and general measures are presented in order to execute judgments from this group of cases, the Committee of Ministers adoptedthe decision and called on the state to submit new information in accordance with the comments by June 2025 at the latest.
Also, the Committee of Ministers passed11 final resolutionswhich ended the supervision of the execution of judgments and decisions against of the Republic of Serbia in the following subjects -Almaši and Stevan Petrović from the subject groupStanimirović,Dragica Lazic and in another 9decision.
